One of my favourite one’s for sure!! I did not watch anything so great after my beloved Aliens!! No more words – try it or forget! Oh, sorry, one more thing) – Chronicles of Riddick are fascinating as well!!

Mort Rainey had a difficult time divorcing his wife. Now he lives at a house near the lake and his daily bread is writing stories. Then a psychotic stranger arrives and.. what happens next only Steven King’s knows.

Another movie based on the plot by the king of horror! I guess there is King’s novel titled Secret Window, but the idea reminds me of my beloved the Dark Half (that’s probably been written earlier). Anyway, it is worth to watch the movie that is quite thrilling.

First of all, if you did not play the game, you may not realize that the movie actually is based on a video game. You won’t scream while watching this movie because it’s not the typical horror movie. But you’ll see a “nightmare world” and town trapped there, creatures that come with the darkness, the pyramid head, the patient demons, the nurse demons as well and others. But, perhaps the best part of ita ll is the fact that none of the evils of the world is overused.

If you are tired of sissy movies for teens, I strongly recommended it to you!

Quaid’s dream is about the vast desert under the red-hellish sky – Mars. Yet he is a simple worker, so he buys some implanted recollections of a journey to Mars (..don’t f**k with your brain, pal. It ain’t worth it.. suggests Harry to Quaid) just to recall himself being there before.. He is to return to Mars to find his former self, danger and mystery.

One of the best roles of Arnold, and Sharon, of course! I was really fascinated by the movie while watching it for the first time. My attitude hasn’t changed, however – the movie is awesome. I remember it being based on some short story by Phillip K. Dick and that’s just fine! I doubt, however, that there was a hooker with three breasts in the story)))

What can come from beyond the horizon?

They make an absolutely new kind of the space engine. The one that denies all space and time boundaries. They use it just to look beyond the horizon of the infinite space and dissapear. Several yeas after, the ship returns from somewhere..

I do not remeber watching such a sci-fi horror before. Even my beloved Aliens are different. This movie is troubling, uneasy, the one that will plant a seed in your brain for a long time. This one I would like to call the classic of horror in space. It is difficult to advise watching such films, but if you really into bad dreams – download Event Horizon and see where it will bring you.

The Company will not willingly give up the idea of having aliens as a tool at their disposal. After 200 years of attempts they manage to ressurect Ripley and grow the Queen once more. And once more the bloody hunt starts. Ripley, who is now a creature of mixed DNA – half woman and half alien, is accompanied by the pack of space pirates in her neverending fight with monsters. This pied wolf pack is to find the way to prevent aliens infestation on Earth.

Alien series have never been bad. This movie is not an exception. I really like to point out Winona Ryder’s character – android called Annalee Call, as I like her very much)) Sometimes I am watching the movie once more jsut because of her. What is common in all 4 Alien movies? Well, I think that three things : appealing and lively characters, thrilling plot and detailed sci-fi surrounding, brought this series a well-deserved success.

They are not dead. Same as Ripley. Seems that for both the fight has become a very personal thing. Ripley founds herself landing the remote ore refinery base (read: prison) in the middle of the nowhere. Former prisoners and now members of some religious community have to face the enemy while armored with nothing but knives and faith. I like the characters in this movie very much – so controversial and yet so heroic. What makes this movie so true, realistic and appealing to me is the fact, that after the great struggle with the horrible alien race Ripley founds out her true enemies..

Downloading Aliens 3 is a must for all lovers of the previous parts. Fincher took the flag from Cameron, just the raise it higher! The surroundings of the ore refinery are among the best sci-fi decorations I have ever seen.

Aliens. One of them is a serious threat. What if there are more? The Company will surely try to make a profit out of it. Wisemen turns to wiseguys easily. Ripley, found after 50-year drifting in space, will serve as a one and the only specialist in the alien life form. Squad of dare-devils called Space Marines will provide necessary firepower. Is that enough to tame beasts?

Most modern movies, based on excess of action, computer animation and poor plot are not even close to breath-taking Aliens! Why explaining – look who is the director of that pearl! I downloaded Aliens to watch it over and over again, as I really miss some hack-and-slash combined with twisted sci-fi plot in movies that were recently produced. My applause to Lance Henriksen for his Bishop!

If you are the “thriller-horror-mystery likers” this one is yours! An isolated house on the swamp where doors slam of their own accord; nervous rumours of murderous black magic rituals; and a blonde protagonist who has to run about a lot.

This is a solid thriller with everything you ever want in an above-average thriller. The movie is unpredictable and will keep you guessing until the end. It has a curious first act, a mysterious second act, and a thrilling third act.

I was screaming at the end of the movie that’s why I strongly recommend it!!!
