Quaid’s dream is about the vast desert under the red-hellish sky - Mars. Yet he is a simple worker, so he buys some implanted recollections of a journey to Mars (..don’t f**k with your brain, pal. It ain’t worth it.. suggests Harry to Quaid) just to recall himself being there before.. He is to return to Mars to find his former self, danger and mystery.
One of the best roles of Arnold, and Sharon, of course! I was really fascinated by the movie while watching it for the first time. My attitude hasn’t changed, however - the movie is awesome. I remember it being based on some short story by Phillip K. Dick and that’s just fine! I doubt, however, that there was a hooker with three breasts in the story)))
