God created this planet to train the faithful. Barren desert is what all of Arakis is. Howeverm here, and only here the most precious substance in the universe - the spice Melange is found. The spice extends life. The spice expands consciousness. The spice is crucial to space travel. Family clans of Atreides and Harkonnen struggle to control the mining of Melange. It is time for war to unfold, for mystery to uncover, for messiah to arrive.
Absolutely marvelous! Some may consider it dull, but believe my - the movie is worth sitting a few hours! Anyway, it is, as always, up to your taste.
